Taylor Talk

I have good news and bad news. The good news is that when I am 16, you can give me your list and I will go to the store for you.
The bad news is that Lexi is going to freak out because she wants to come, and I am not going to let her.

Mommy: "What Taylor? I can't understand you."
Taylor: "It's Spanish!"

"I miss Jesus"

Mommy: "Soon you will have a little brother, or a little sister"
Taylor: "It's a little brother, we already have a little sister. Sorry, it's a boy."

"Let's go to Easton's house so I can say 'come here Easton' and he will follow me."

Holding Lexi in her lap: "Oh! My little sister- she's so chunky."

"Daddy is my husband."

"No, daddy will fix it. He's so good at fixing things."

Mommy: (after trying for a few hours to get her to take a nap) "Taylor . . . you have to take a nap!"
Taylor: "Just say a happy prayer"
(gets on her knees quickly)
"Heavenly Father, Grateful for Mommy, and Lexi, and Greatful for Daddy. Greatful for Jesus. The End!" (then starts clapping)
"See Mommy, your happy now!"
(she was right . . .it did make me happy)

Mommy:You have to wear your seat belt because if I crash while you are not, you will FLY through the windshield and get hurt really really badly.
Tay: (pauses, with a very concerned look). . . But I don't have wings!

While watching Snow White-
Tay: "Mommy, where is my prince?"
Me: "He's at work"
Tay: "Mommy, can we go get him?"

"Know what I mean?"

"It's kinda hard." (When showing off her dance moves.)

"Han-sani-tiza" (Hand Sanitizer).

"Maui" (Madi - short for Madison, her doll).

Still refers to boys AND girls as 'he.'

Looking at crying Lexi: "Oh... Sweetheart." Turning to mommy: "She's freaking out."

"I just want to see what happens."

Mommy: "Is Daddy your favorite?" Taylor:"No- Pink."

"It's just too hard to close my eyes."

Driving daddy to the airport: "I still miss you daddy."
