He liked it, and put a ring on it!

Have you ever seen the movie Enchanted? Don't you think my beautiful little sister looks just like a Princess in her wedding dress? My sister Heather and Kellen were married on Saturday, June 6th at the Salt Lake temple. It was seriously so awesome to see her be sealed to her Eternal Companion, Kellen Pead. They have been dating ever since she was 16, which was 4 years ago. He is such an awesome guy, and we are happy to have him in the family!

Their reception was on Friday night at the gardens in Thanksgiving Point. It felt more like a big party because they had a sweet band playing and we just danced like crazy the last hour. It was seriously so much fun!

Hey Michelle, Hope you don't mind I found your blog through Natalie Baum. It is so good to see an update on your beautiful family. Its hard to believe it has been so long since we were out in Hawaii going to school. Time has gone so fast and now here we are with 3 kids each. I remember when your father and brother passed away and my heart broke for you and your family, but at the same time it rejoiced that your husband and brother-in-law had survived. I pray your family is doing well and adjusting well. Its never easy to lose a loved one, we understand that. Brady's little bro passed away unexpectedly in 2004. We are grateful to a loving Heavenly Father who provides peace and comfort, even if we may not fully understand why. Hope your family is doing well. Your daughters are BEAUTIFUL! We were finally blessed to add a daughter to our own family last month. Girls are so fun, but we do love our boys too of course. Take care! Where are you guys at now anyways?

Greetings Shumway family,

My name is Michael Gardiner and I am Kellen Pead's mission companion from the brief time he spent in Brazil two years ago. I have to say I was quite happy for him when I got back from my mission, found your blog, and discovered he was married! I'd really like to get back in contact with him and find out how things have been for these two years. If you could get me his email or some kind of contact info that would be a really big favor. Congratulations for your family!
